Postdoctoral Fellow – innovative ore processing

For the Materials Science Group in the Laboratory for Condensed Matter, we are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to work on ore processing and related analytical methods.
Your tasks
Research on mechanochemical activation of phosphate ores
Develop and improve existing data pipeline at the ADDAMS beamline, with a focus on combined XRD and XRF workflows, particularly for industrial applications
Assist beamline users
Publish research results and present them at relevant scientific meetings and conferences
Your profile
PhD degree in Geology, Material Science, or a related field
Hands‑on experience with diffraction methods XRD, in particular with powder diffraction, and possibly X‑ray fluorescence XRF
Experience with synchrotron experiments is an advantage
Strong computing skills, being able to program in Python
Fluent in both written and spoken English
