Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide complex technical support, planning and coordination for the distributed computer environment, including desktop, software and hardware issues, support and distribution and remote access technologies
Perform diagnosing, installation, and resolution of computer, operating system, application software and hardware technologies and associated problems
Perform diagnosing, installation, and resolution of remote access technologies and associated problems
Provide complex technical input to the team and assume a supporting role in selecting and utilizing appropriate tools and techniques for timely service delivery
Work independently with little to no direct supervision in analysis, design, and implementation of desktop solutions to fulfil business unit requirements
Act as a technical liaison with user groups and other IT partners for systems support and implementation. Provide an effective interface among users, vendors, IT partners and consultants in evaluating technical issues and products
Responsible for implementation of solutions to fulfil business unit requirements
Demonstrate creativity and initiative in problem solving Responsible for security compliance and for security deployments
Requirements
2+ years of progressive experience in the GxP Manufacturing, Logistics and Laboratory environment
Advanced knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, logistics and warehouse systems (infrastructure and applications)
Advanced knowledge and understanding of Windows operating systems
Intermediate knowledge of the Windows Server Operating System and the ability to perform tasks and troubleshoot issues
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN environments
Intermediate knowledge of communication protocols
Intermediate knowledge of PC-to-Server access
Creative and advanced problem-solving skills that lead to effective solutions to complex and varied problems
Advanced ability to perform complex troubleshooting and analysis of PC hardware, PC operating systems and office automation software, with expert level knowledge in at least one area of specialization
Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and analysis of network system devices and PC network hardware and client software
A demonstrated ability to encourage and model positive cross-team partnerships
Good experience with GenAI tools
Good experience with end-to-end observability
Driving projects, project management skills
Cisco or Siemens networking equipment and tooling experience
SPOC for manufacturing, laboratories or logistics
Living locally in the area maximum 1 hour from the main work address (including traffic)
Owning a car and valid driver license in local country
Willingness to work fully onsite
Fluency in German and English
