It is part of the Asile des aveugles, founded in Lausanne, which brings together the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital in Lausanne, the social and low vision service, the vision science research center, and the EMS Clair-Soleil in Ecublens, a medico-social establishment specially equipped for seniors. 670 employees mobilize every day in the service of visual health to offer solutions for diagnosis, treatment, and support to people in their daily lives. To complete our team, we are looking for an:Itinerant Special Education TeacherYour mission- Guarantee and ensure the provision of adapted teaching materials from 1H to 11H, with the support of a transcription service: enlargements, digital documents, or Braille.- Encourage and promote the use of these materials.- Work in close collaboration with classroom teachers.- Keep a logbook and establish an annual report for each student.- Participate in the network involving regular school professionals and various specialists (occupational therapists, specialists in locomotion, daily living activities and functional vision, ophthalmologists, and support for teachers).Your profile- Degree in special education (acquired or in progress); obtaining the Master's degree is mandatory for the exercise of this function.- Initial training as a teacher, specialized educator, or Master's in pedagogy or psychology, followed by complementary training leading to the diploma in special education (recognized by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education – CDIP) or in employment at the HEP.- Willingness to develop and keep up to date the specific professional knowledge and skills necessary for the exercise of your function through continuing education.- Ease with standard computer tools.- Sense of organization and flexibility, ability to work autonomously.- Sense of responsibility and ability to manage complex situations.- Pleasure in collaborating with professionals from diverse backgrounds.- Professional ethics.- Language: French.- Good knowledge of school subjects.We offer- A dynamic, rich, and varied work environment.- The possibility to build, develop, and invest in projects and activities.Terms of employment- Contract type: Fixed-term for a maximum of 6 months.- Start date: August 1st.- Workplace: Canton of Vaud.- Salary: According to the social CCT.Information:- Head of SPI BEJUNE - Specialized Teacher SPI BEJUNE jid69b993caen jit0623aen jpiy26aen
