Position: Manager Fiscal & Regulatory Affairs in Lausanne, Switzerland
Responsible for developing and implementing an integrated regulatory and fiscal strategy for Switzerland, supporting the company's objectives and maintaining a sustainable business environment for our multi-category portfolio.
The role involves shaping the strategic vision for PM Switzerland, engaging with stakeholders at federal and cantonal levels, and managing resources effectively.
Principal responsibilities include:
1. Fiscal:
o Developing excise tax strategies aligned with business goals.
o Maintaining stakeholder networks and understanding fiscal policies.
o Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and managing external consultants.
o Drafting position papers and submissions.
2. Regulatory:
o Representing the company in trade and business associations.
o Driving initiatives within these associations.
o Supporting international trade matters and stakeholder engagement.
o Managing external consultants and drafting position papers.
3. Business Support:
o Advising management on fiscal and regulatory topics.
o Providing expertise to business units.
4. Corporate Communication:
o Providing content and expertise on fiscal and regulatory issues.
Candidate profile:
* Fluent in German, French, and English; Italian is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal, analytical skills, resilience, and outcome focus.
* Master’s degree in Law, Political Science, Economics, Finance, Business, or related fields.
* Over 10 years of relevant experience in fiscal/government/external affairs within regulated consumer goods.
* Established external stakeholder network at federal level.
* Understanding of policy and legislative processes.
* Ability to develop impactful issue papers, advocacy materials, and presentations.
* Strong problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
