To strengthen our Regulatory Compliance & Risk (RCR) practice inSwitzerland, we are looking for experienced subject matter experts in thefields of Operational Risk Management in banking.
About the job: Asa Manager or Associate Partner within the RCR team, you will play a pivotalrole in expanding our market presence, fostering client relationships, andcontributing to the delivery of high-quality consulting services to our bankingclients. In addition, you will support shaping and driving the strategicdirection of the RCR practice in Switzerland.
Responsibilities andClient Engagement:
Engage in andmaintain strong relationships with existing and prospective bankingclients.
Lead clientengagement initiatives, understanding their unique challenges, andoffering tailored solutions that drive value and impact.
Collaborate withcross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of clientprojects.
Thought Leadership:
Contribute to andexecute our RCR strategy in Switzerland that aligns with Synpulse'soverall business strategy and global RCR objectives.
Drive businessdevelopment efforts in your field of expertise to identify and capture newopportunities across key regulatory, risk and compliance topics.
Provide thoughtleadership, staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes andemerging technologies.
Be point of contactfor knowledge in your field of expertise.
Represent Synpulse asa subject matter expert in the banking industry, contributing toconferences, seminars, and industry events.
Publish articles,whitepapers, and thought leadership content to contribute to Synpulse'spresence as a trusted advisor.
Team Management and Development:
Lead, mentor, anddevelop a team of consultants within the practice, fostering a culture ofcollaboration, excellence, and innovation.
Provide guidance andsupport in project execution, ensuring the team delivers expert solutionsto clients.
About you: 8+ years ofexperience for Manager level and 15+ years of experience for AssociatePartner level in the area of Operational Risk Management – ideally including ESG risk, ICT risk and data risk within a bank
Experience in projectmanagement
Expert knowledge inthe area of OperationalRisk Management – ideally including ESG risk, ICT risk, and data riskwithin a bank
Trackrecordinperformingrisk reviews and assessments, bringing strategicinsights and practical recommendations
Experience ininteracting with regulators is an advantage for the Associate Partner role
Experience inmanaging teams on complex projects while motivating team members tosucceed
Strong leadershipskills with the ability to build relationships at all levels internallyand with client teams and stakeholders
Business acumen andmarket understanding as well as an entrepreneurial attitude with a desireto learn
Excellentpresentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
Holding an advanceddegree (MA / MSc or MBA)
Fluent inGerman and English
