Build high-impact decks; turn impact data into clear visuals; maintain brand templates / assets.Reporting & docs: Produce, design and align project proposals / reports for donors, national offices, execs, and board; edit for clarity; provide DE / EN support (incl. German editing / translation for MSCH).Webdesign: Publish blog posts, newsletter, updates.Storytelling & content: Contribute on blogs, impact pieces, social media and intranet / newsletter updates.Internal comms: Set up SOPs / best practices, run a shared comms calendar, and streamline information flow across Programs and Mercy Ships international.Metrics: Define brand-awareness KPIs and milestones; track and report progress.CompetenciesCommunication & design: Advanced visual skills; good writing / editing; able to synthesize complex information; manages multiple projects and deadlines.Technical & languages: MS Office; Mailchimp (or similar); Adobe Suite, Wordpress, CMSYour ProfileProject & stakeholder management: Solid organization and PM; rigorous quality control; excellent client-facing communication; effective in matrixed, cross-functional environments.Proactive, adaptable, innovative; works independently and collaboratively; acts with integrity and accountability.Embrace Christian values.Education: Bachelor’s (or Swiss CFC) in Graphic Design, Mediamatics, Communications, Marketing, or related.Required: 5 years in design / communication, ideally in NGOs, healthcare, or humanitarian sectors.Desired: Experience in nonprofit / international development / global health (esp. global surgery) and / or work / volunteering in Africa.Fluent in English and German, French is a plus.
