Aufgaben
As a systems engineer, responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of the core infrastructure based on IBM Power Systems, primarily AIX and Linux / Implementation of automation measures with Ansible, development and maintenance of AIX-based enterprise systems and the associated infrastructure, such as storage, hardware and networking / Contributing to the design and implementation of projects aimed at further enhancing the existing infrastructure / Ensuring compliance with IT policies, change management procedures and backup strategies / Offering second-level support / Ad hoc projects.
Qualifikation
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Engineering / ITIL certification is a plus / Strong knowledge of a bank’s core infrastructure and hands-on experience with IBM AIX 7.x, AIX and Linux Systems and strong expertise in scripting and automation technologies / Familiar with storage technologies such as SAN, or GPFS, including IBM PowerVM virtualization Environment / Experience with LPAR (Logical Partition) and VIO (Virtual I/O Server) as core components of IBM Power Systems virtualisation / Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), which offers exceptional stability and security for physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures / Knowledge of programming languages such as Shell, Python, Ansible / Analytical personality with an interest in project management and problem-solving / Service-oriented mindset and interest in interacting with stakeholders / Interest in a structured, independent work style with the ability to remain focused under pressure / German and English.
