The 3.75-year PhD position within the BoBiColAS project (Boosting Biodiversity through Collaborative Agri-Environmental Schemes) is part of the Swiss National Research Programme 82 “Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services”. Using a transdisciplinary approach the project is carried out at Agroscope in Switzerland, in collaboration with the Agricultural Office of the Cabton of Aargau as the societal partner, the University of Aberdeen (Scotland), and a wide range of national partners from both practice and research.

Agroscope is the Swiss centre of excellence for agricultural research. The project brings together ecologists, economists and social scientists working agricultural and environmental issues. The PhD is being completed at ETH Zurich's Department of Environmental Systems Science (supervised by Prof Dr Eva Lieberherr) and is based in Agroscope's Socioeconomics research group.
