We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Switzerland, focusing on the hemato-oncology market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong scientific mindset, business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and an ability to work with ease in a cross-functional team. This role involves promoting our innovative hemato-oncology products to healthcare professionals, analyzing their territory to develop tactics and execute strategies, and contributing to our mission of improving patient care and outcomes in this rapidly evolving field.
Responsibilities
1. Product Promotion and Education
o Deliver high-quality customer calls to specialized healthcare professionals, integrating digital tools (e-detail, 1:1 email, etc.) using a 360-degree omnichannel approach to deliver appropriate content.
o Stay up-to-date with in-depth knowledge of the latest advancements in hemato-oncology research and treatment options.
2. Customer Relationship Management
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare providers, including oncologists and hematologists.
o Identify and address the specific needs of each healthcare institution and tailor product presentations accordingly.
3. Strategic Account Planning
o Develop, own, and execute comprehensive Strategic Account Management plans for key healthcare providers and organizations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align value propositions, define meeting schedules, and lead all meetings (kick-off planning, monthly meetings, leadership reviews).
4. Market Analysis and Strategy
o Understand and communicate regional performance, competitor activities, customer networks, and feedback to develop effective sales strategies and regional account plans.
o Collaborate with marketing to create and implement targeted campaigns.
5. Product Training and Support
o Provide product training to healthcare professionals, ensuring proper usage and benefits are understood.
o Offer ongoing support and address queries related to our products and services.
6. Compliance and Reporting
o Adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards.
o Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
7. Collaboration and Teamwork
o Work with medical affairs and commercial teams to support product launches and initiatives.
o Attend industry events to network and share insights.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or related field (master’s preferred) or equivalent para-medical education.
* Ability to discuss scientific and medical data with stakeholders, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in German and English.
* Understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, reimbursement, and payer landscapes is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills to translate data into insights and tactics.
* Proficiency in project management, responsibility, and working autonomously and in teams.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
* Results-oriented with a proactive attitude and time management skills.
