Job Description
You will assume end-to-end responsibility for control tasks assigned to you. While working independently, you are in close contact with your team and other BRM experts to deliver high-quality control results.
* Assess operational risks related to AML & KYC, Investor Protection (Advisory Process), or Cross-border during monthly controls.
* Ensure timely remediation by front staff and answer control-related questions.
* Closely collaborate with the team to ensure quality, for example, by conducting four-eyes checks and sharing knowledge.
* Assist front staff with technical and topic-specific queries.

About the Role
This is a 12-month limited contract position within the temporary control team, which is responsible for assessing control tasks of the Origination Control Framework and ensuring remediation of issues found where required.
Key Requirements
* Understanding and/or experience in risk management in general, and at least one of the topics mentioned above.
* Detail-oriented with a strategic perspective.
* Effective communicator, even in challenging discussions about control results.
* Flexibility to adjust to new topics.
* Motivated to build positive relationships while working independently.
* Proficiency in spoken and written English or German is required. Other languages are a plus, particularly French or Italian.

The temporary control team is a group of experts with different professional backgrounds and part of BRM Products 2 within UBS Switzerland's Business Risk Management (BRM). Our offices are located in Bern, Lausanne, Lugano, St. Gallen, and Zurich.
