Our client, a leading provider of temporary and permanent staffing solutions, is looking for a Tactical Buyer in the heart of Zurich.
Your qualifications
* Commercial or equivalent education with further training in procurement.
* Recognized qualifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS, Procure).
* Multi-year practical buying experience.
* Good knowledge of SAP.
* Experience working in a matrix organisation with various stakeholders.
* Structured, precise and deadline-oriented working style.
* Strong communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
* High initiative and ability to prioritise.
* Industry knowledge not mandatory.
Your responsibilities
* Independent management of the entire procurement process from demand signalling to purchase and tracking.
* Support the Category Team in quote creation for low-value items, data analysis, quote evaluation and clarification of supplier data or invoicing discrepancies.
* Preparation and maintenance of reporting, including root cause analysis, action planning and tracking to implementation.
* Verification of procurement requests for compliance with internal processes.
* Conversion of requests into orders for the purchase agent PSG, including registration on the website according to guidelines.
* Processing of credit card orders according to internal guidelines.
* Handling of disputes and active problem solving.
* Management of the Swiss Procurement mailbox.
* First escalation point for the Tactical Buyer Service Center in Portugal for topics such as orders, receipt confirmations, ICRs and supplier master data maintenance.
