Job Summary:
Supply Chain Optimization Manager
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Optimization Manager to join our team. As a key member of the planning department, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing imbalances in the supply chain to achieve optimal service, cost, and inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. E2E Planning Optimization:
* Optimize planning methods and parameters to improve supply chain efficiency
* Establish segmentations, tolerances, and triggers for alerts and critical issues
* Define inventory de-coupling points and develop replenishment strategies
* Set supply chain parameters in alignment with sites, including batch sizes, make frequencies, safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, lead times, etc.
2. Sense & Respond:
* Generate smart alerts and identify exceptions across the network to support issue resolution from a planning standpoint
* Assess exceptions for business impact and categorize for blocking issues (STEM)
* Participate in the S&OP/IBP process and represent the Global Planning team
* Connect the outputs of the Site Supply Review meetings (SRM's) to drive decision-making processes
3. NPI Planning:
* Optimize NPI planning hierarchy, parameters, and Set-based Planning systems
* Supervise demand/supply/inventory NPI plans and supply commits as of production readiness
* Highlight and mitigate NPI planning risk through the IBP process
4. Support Metrics/Critical Metrics:
* Reporting, supervising, and highlighting gaps to drive critical metric improvement (OTIF, CBO, Plan Attainment, FC-Accuracy), Inventory (DOS, SLOB)
About You:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree required
* A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
* Experience supporting supply chain planning
* In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain principles
* Scenario planning and analytical skills, including Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx
* In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, APO, OMP, or equivalent)
* Good presentation skills and sophisticated skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
