Responsibilities:
1. Support business decisions: You advise the plant management and key departments on financial matters and keep a close eye on operational KPIs.
2. Analyze results: You compare actuals with targets, identify deviations, and contribute insights in relevant meetings.
3. Prepare reports and forecasts: Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as well as P&L forecasts are part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
4. Lead operational planning: Once a year, you coordinate and prepare the site’s full operational plan.
5. Evaluate investments: You review CAPEX proposals, perform payback calculations, and manage the approval process.
6. Ensure compliance: You monitor adherence to tax regulations and internal financial policies.
Qualifications:
7. Education: Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable commercial qualification
8. Experience: Solid background in controlling, project controlling or finance – ideally in a production environment
9. Tools: Proficient in Excel, SAP and MS Word; confident in working with cost accounting and audit requirements
10. Languages: Fluent in German and English
11. Strengths: Strong analytical skills, initiative, a collaborative mindset, confident communication, and negotiation skills
