We are currently involved in developing and testing the next generation of an in vitro diagnostic analyzer and looking for a motivated intern to embed within our squad. In this role, you will be the bridge between finding system anomalies and driving them to resolution, ensuring our hardware and software seamlessly integrate to deliver life‑saving diagnostic results. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 ul liTest Case Creation for Defect Verification: You will design, write, and document specific test cases tailored to verify defect resolution (HW, SW). /li liSupport Root Cause Analysis: You will support RD squads in Root Cause Analysis by designing experiments, executing tests, and analyzing the data. /li liHands‑on Testing: You will execute verification tests on systems, combining software workflows with physical hardware interactions. /li liSupport Regression Testing: You will work closely with the team to conduct regression testing, ensuring that newly implemented fixes have not introduced secondary issues or unexpected side effects elsewhere in the system. /li liDocumentation Reporting: You will also document test results and report findings back to the RD squads. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liAcademic Background: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; or you graduated within the last 12 months. /li liProgramming Skills: You have a solid foundational knowledge of Python (used for test automation or data analysis). /li liSystemic Thinking: You possess a strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand how complex hardware and software components interact within a single system. /li liDomain Affinity: Your interest and/or experience in the medical device/medtech sector is a strong plus. /li liMethodical Approach: You pay high attention to detail and have a structured, systematic way of solving problems. /li liLanguages: You speak fluent English (Project and team language); German is beneficial, but not strictly required. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ul liThis is an internship with a duration of 6–12 months located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, with an 80% on‑site presence. /li liDue to regulations non‑EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university as part of the application documents, stating that an internship is mandatory. /li /ul pbRoche is an Equal Opportunity Employer. /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
