You will be the company’s first dedicated commercial hire and contribute to our go-to-market engine. /p h3Your Impact /h3 pThis is a full-cycle sales role: you will identify, prospect, engage, and close new business across multiple industry verticals.You will also play a strategic role in shaping our commercial positioning, pricing, and service packaging based on direct market feedback.This role is ideal for someone who is energized by building, and can hold credible scientific conversations with PhDs and RD leaders while also executing disciplined outbound sales processes. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liBuild and execute outbound prospecting strategy to generate a qualified sales pipeline. /li liManage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close, including complex multi-stakeholder deals. /li liDevelop deep understanding of our metabolomics and glycomics service offerings and translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for different buyer personas. /li liIdentify, attend, and represent the company at key industry conferences, scientific meetings, and trade shows. /li liEstablish and maintain a CRM system. /li liCollaborate closely with the laboratory and data science teams to scope custom projects, develop proposals, and ensure smooth project handoffs. /li liProvide structured market intelligence and customer feedback to the leadership team to inform product development, pricing strategy, and company positioning. /li liContribute to marketing efforts including content development, case studies, website copy, and thought leadership materials. /li liDevelop and nurture strategic partnerships with complementary service providers, technology platforms, and channel partners. /li /ul h3Skills and Qualifications /h3 ul li3–5 years of commercial experience (sales, business development, or account management) in life science services, analytical/bioanalytical CROs, or life science tools and instruments. /li liDemonstrated track record of building pipeline and closing new business through outbound prospectingb (not solely inbound or account management) /b. /li liAbility to engage credibly in technical discussions with scientists and RD leaders is a must.
