We are seeking a self-starter who can quickly familiarize themselves with this fast-paced environment, build relationships/trust with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership within the program, which will require understanding complex business, tech, and operations processes at Amazon and our partners, and devising an optimal engagement model. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, analytical talent, and good document writing skills with concise communication are essential for success in this role.
Amazon Fresh team is looking for a customer-obsessed Category Marketing Manager to define strategy and create marketing initiatives that generate discoverability and engage consumers in UFG categories.
Key job responsibilities
1. Customer understanding & insights: Use internal and external data to propose marketing initiatives that drive customer growth. Analyze traffic sources, understand customer journeys, and connect with central teams to bring insights for driving acquisition and engagement.
2. Demand generation: Own category strategy and execution for events, homepage, outbound, and onsite campaigns. Report results, analyze data, and refine strategies to improve customer experience and engagement.
3. Customer experience: Continuously improve the shopping journey, address issues impacting CX, and enhance discoverability and navigation of categories in partnership with local and global teams.
A day in the life
Participate in cross-functional meetings, collaborate with teams to accelerate categories, oversee interns, brainstorm campaign strategies, analyze performance metrics, and develop targeted marketing initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
* Experience using data and metrics for improvements
* Proficiency with Excel or Tableau
* Experience building and scaling marketing campaigns
* Advanced English proficiency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with customer research, data, and metrics for forecasting and assessment
* Experience with email, web analytics, and CRM systems like Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce
