We are seeking a Global Accounts Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Haag, Switzerland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the product line supply chain organization as a trusted expert and business partner who executes and fulfills all assigned orders regarding Quality, Delivery and Cost in line with business requirements.
This pivotal role works directly with one of our global key customers' supply chain teams within VAT's 'global key accounts supply chain' team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Communicate customer inventory needs and requirements to supply chain partners;
* Facilitate inventory planning and deployment;
* Actively manage customer in-stock and on-shelf availability of inventory;
* Discuss and resolve product and component shortages with the customer;
* Work on global NPI launch requirements (quantity and timing);
* Coordinate 'same on shelf date' global NPI launches with the customer and internally;
* Generate/collate all necessary reports required by the customer;
* Collaborate with the customer and internal teams on continuous process improvement;
* Participate in daily and weekly internal and external meetings;
* Coordinate regular capacity assessments along the value chain to ensure fulfillment of mid- to long-term customer demand plans;
* Organize and/or participate in internal/external ad-hoc customer meetings;
* Form value-added partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, etc.
Your Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar discipline;
* 7 - 10 years of experience in supply chain management in global organizations, preferably in the semiconductor industry or related industries;
* Proven experience working in a global and international company environment;
* Strong ability to communicate within an international and intercultural environment, cross-functionally as well as across hierarchies;
* Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite and Tableau skills; ERP experience (Oracle, SAP or MS Dynamics);
* Demonstrated decision-making ability in the face of uncertain or incomplete information;
* Analytical skills, including data evaluation, identification, solution development and implementation;
* End-to-end understanding of how a semiconductor business works and ability to communicate using operations and supply chain terminology around factory, supply chain and sales operations;
* Familiarization with Horizontal MRP Report at both component and finished goods levels;
* Willingness to travel to VAT Penang, Malaysia (20%).
