To support our site in Kreuzlingen (TG), we are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible:
Senior Accountant
Your Responsibilities:
Ensure all accounting processes at the site are carried out accurately
Reporting and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Assist in the planning and monitoring of budgets
Subject matter responsibility for the SAP-FI system in all financial accounting matters
Manage cash flow, foreign exchange, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Handle VAT processes, review externally prepared tax declarations, and ensure correct filings
Ensure compliance with SOX/ICE and internal control processes
Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Administer insurance matters
Oversee fixed asset accounting
Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants
Act as the interface to the company’s internal Shared Service Center
Advise and support the management team on all finance-related matters
Your Profile:
Higher education in business administration with a recognized qualification in finance and accounting
Several years of professional experience managing full accounting responsibilities, ideally in an international industrial group
In-depth knowledge of financial, receivables, and payables accounting
Strong experience in financial statement preparation and a solid understanding of US GAAP, Swiss Code of Obligations, and tax law
Affinity for controlling topics
Excellent IT skills, especially in SAP (FI), MS Office, and Excel
Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
A collaborative, communicative, and strategically-minded personality
