Area Sales Manager
Mission: Reporting to the Group Sales Director ensures both the management and development of the business in the assigned area for the entire product portfolio, including the achievement of all commercial targets in accordance with the company's strategy.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of the relationship between the company and customers, in order to gain competitive advantages for the company.
Develops and executes strategies to meet sales targets and maximises sales revenues in allocated areas and accounts.
Plans, budgets, and participates in fairs, conferences or similar events related to defined target markets.
Reduces commercial and technical contractual risks by developing solutions with internal stakeholders while adhering to different processes and approval steps.
Monitors, evaluates, and supports the performance of sales representatives and agents.
Prepares accurate and comprehensive quotations in line with agreed timescales.
Follows the order fulfilment process jointly with the Project Manager, maintaining a clear project overview and status regarding contractual terms and conditions.
Recognises and implements the most commercially viable solutions for accounts.
Develops a thorough knowledge of the business and culture of clients within a sector and uses this to develop relationships and opportunities.
Qualifications
STEM degree required; MBA considered a plus.
At least 10 years' experience at multinational manufacturing companies.
History of working effectively with clients and delivering quantifiable excellence.
Good knowledge of the market.
