Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop composite components and assemblies for high-performance applications
* Propose and evaluate structural concepts with focus on weight, performance, and manufacturability
* Support and coordinate engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle
* Take ownership of technical work packages, ensuring delivery in line with project scope and timelines
* Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and product structures using CAD and PLM tools
* Prepare and manage composite manufacturing data and related documentation
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across engineering and production
* Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders at different organizational levels
Our Ideal Candidate Should Have
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
* 5+ years of experience in composite structures design, preferably within a regulated industry
* Strong proficiency in 3D modelling and drafting tools (NX or similar CAD systems preferred)
* Familiarity with composite design methodologies and related software tools (e.g., Fibersim or equivalent)
* Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and adapt in a dynamic environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in English, German is a plus
