Design Leadership Role
You will be responsible for spearheading design activities across a dedicated engine platform.
The role involves facilitating seamless interactions between the design project team and the organization to ensure that the design meets system and customer specifications, as well as safety, compliance, and cost requirements.
You will ensure that simulation activities are aligned with the project's schedule and scope.
A key aspect of this role is ensuring effective working methods by adhering to guidelines and modern design practices, while also guiding and mentoring team members to achieve their goals.
You will regularly report to management on the design progress and compliance with deadlines.
In addition, you will be responsible for the technical content of the Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the entire development phase.
This position requires managing and coordinating all activities related to the design process, including DFMEA, design reviews, and more.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* You have successfully completed studies at a university or technical college in mechanical engineering or automotive manufacturing.
* You possess extensive knowledge of design of combustion engines (Diesel and/or Hydrogen).
* You have a robust understanding of simulation results (fluid, mechanical, thermomechanical, multibody, etc.).
* You have a good knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and PLM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
* You demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues, manage conflicts, and drive projects to successful completion.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* You are fluent in English (C1) and have good proficiency in French or German (B2).
