We're supporting a well-established Swiss IT & consulting organisation known for delivering high-quality infrastructure services to a diverse client base (SMEs enterprise-level environments).
They are now looking for a Senior Senior Windows System Administrator to strengthen their team in Zurich.
Your Role
You'll play a key role in maintaining and optimising a complex, highly virtualised IT landscape, working across both internal systems and client environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating, monitoring & maintaining Microsoft-based infrastructure
Managing and supporting M365 environments (Exchange, Teams, etc.)
Working with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments
Troubleshooting & resolving incidents (2nd level support)
Installing & optimising hardware, OS & standard software
Managing backups, recovery & system performance
Supporting security improvements & vulnerability fixes
Contributing to IT projects when needed
Your Profile
Background in IT Systems Engineering (or similar)
5 years experience in complex IT environments
Strong expertise across:
Microsoft Server / Client environments
M365 (essential)
Citrix technologies (big advantage!)
Basic knowledge of Linux / containers is a plus
Microsoft certifications = bonus
