About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Level 1 IT Support Engineer to join our team in Hendenham, Germany. You'll serve as the first point of contact for IT issues, providing efficient and friendly technical support that keeps our systems running smoothly and our users happy.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
* Diagnose and resolve common IT problems; escalate complex cases to higher-level teams.
* Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
* Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory / Microsoft 365.
* Document incidents, solutions, and procedures clearly in the ticketing system.
* Support IT onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.
* Follow IT security policies and contribute to a secure, reliable infrastructure.
Requirements & Skills
* 3 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or Helpdesk roles.
* Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
* Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
