Job Summary
Targray seeks a Market Risk Manager to support and develop the Market Risk department. The successful candidate will lead risk practices, oversee a team of risk professionals, and develop models and systems as the company expands. This role reports to the Director of Risk Management and is based at our Geneva, Switzerland office. It is a 100% on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish and improve market risk management processes across all divisions.
2. Ensure accurate reporting of risk data, including exposure and VaR.
3. Lead a team of risk analysts across locations and time zones.
4. Collaborate to design controls, dashboards, and tools within the risk framework.
5. Provide risk insights for decision-making.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert for the CTRM system.
7. Prepare ad-hoc risk analysis reports for strategic and regulatory purposes.
Qualifications and Skills
* Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related; certifications like FRM or CFA are a plus.
* At least 5 years of experience in market risk, preferably in commodity trading (oil/renewables experience is desirable).
* Deep understanding of derivatives pricing and physical commodities.
* Strong quantitative and modeling skills.
* Proficiency in Python, R, and data analysis tools like PowerBI.
* Experience with commodity trading risk systems.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
* Experience managing multicultural teams globally.
