IS Platform Architect for Power BI and MS Fabric service

This position involves owning software solution architecture across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the quality of IS solutions and services delivered to the business. You will also support the installation of new IS solutions/services or modifications to existing ones.
The work model for this role is #Onsite.
This position contributes to global IS services.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure IS solutions/services meet functionality, reliability, maintainability, compliance, and audit standards.
* Manage and analyze software development to improve solutions continually.
* Collaborate on project setup, delivery, and service operation optimization.
* Approve and sign off solutions for implementation in ABB's production environment, ensuring quality and safety standards.
* Define technical IS solutions and ensure their integration with other modules and applications through collaboration with IS solution architects and delivery units.
* Support validation and prioritization of business demands in collaboration with relevant IS owners and architects.
* Review and approve functional and technical specifications.
* Act as escalation point for solution architecture issues.
* Contribute to problem and incident management by identifying and eliminating recurring defects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, computer systems, business engineering, or similar.
* Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
* Preferred certifications include:
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
o Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
o Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (for governance)
