Overview
We are looking for an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team and contribute to the development of future aircraft programmes. If you have a passion for aviation and composite innovation, this role offers an opportunity to make a direct impact on world‑class aircraft.
Responsibilities
* Design composite structural and non-structural components for upcoming aircraft programmes.
* Lead and execute Design Changes for composite parts in serial production.
* Manage and deliver design projects ranging from minor tasks to major sub-projects.
* Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials using NX and Teamcenter.
* Prepare and manage all Fibersim datasets related to composite design activities.
* Collaborate closely with stress, manufacturing, production, and project management teams.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of composite design experience in the aviation industry.
* Excellent 3D modelling & drafting skills in Unigraphics NX.
* Proficiency in Fibersim for composite ply definition.
* Highly motivated and comfortable working under demanding timelines.
* Strong communication skills — from production shopfloor to management level.
* Team‑oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a multicultural environment.
* Fluency in English is a must.
