We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Supply Chain Program Management to lead our Supply Chain Program Office at our headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities within complex aviation projects, including maintenance, refurbishment, modification, and completions.You will lead a team of project managers and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure that procurement, logistics, inventory management, and tooling are effectively planned and executed. Your focus will be on ensuring supply chain readiness, timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements—contributing directly to the successful delivery of each project.
Your profile Lead End-to-End SCM Execution: Oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle within each aviation project—from procurement, logistics, and inventory to tooling and delivery—ensuring timely availability and alignment with project goals.
Manage and Develop a High-Performing Team: Lead, coach, and develop a team of SCM Project Managers embedded in multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring accountability, coordination, and continuous improvement.
Resource Planning & Allocation: Assess project requirements and allocate SCM resources accordingly.
Establish Governance and Best Practices: Develop and maintain robust governance frameworks, templates, and execution models to ensure consistency, visibility, and control in SCM project management.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the SCM point of contact within project teams—partnering with business and functional leaders to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
Track Performance and Report Progress: Monitor supply chain KPIs, milestones, risks, and budgets across all active projects; provide regular updates and dashboards to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Ensure Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Maintain strict adherence to corporate policies, external regulations, and HSE standards—embedding risk management practices across all project stages.
Promote Digital Tools & Transparency: Champion the adoption of project management and supply chain tools to improve collaboration, traceability, and real-time tracking.

Your profile Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
10+ years of experience in supply chain and program/project management
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
Strong expertise across procurement, logistics, inventory, and tooling
Experience in aviation or other highly regulated, project-based industries
Fluent in English, German and/or French are a plus
Proficient in ERP and project management systems (SAP, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
Excellent leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Familiarity with EASA/FAA compliance frameworks is a benefit
Lean or Six Sigma certification would be beneficial
