Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry with global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. They are undergoing a transformation with respect to culture and outside perception. The organisation focusses on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology and is also currently developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology with one of the strongest pipelines of Phase II/III studies in the world.
For their office in Basel city, we are currently looking for a:
Authentifield Library Producer
Start date: Ideally October 2025
Duration: 3 years +
Main Responsibilities
* Spectral Library Production: Collect, validate, and manage spectral data; maintain operational status and calibration of LabScanner devices.
* Exhibit & Sample Management: Receive, inventory, and securely store forensic exhibits and pharmaceutical samples, ensuring full chain-of-custody documentation and compliance.
* Quality Assurance & Compliance: Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of LabScanners; document all processes in line with technical and quality standards.
* Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including quality control labs, manufacturing sites, and external partners for sample acquisition and technical support.
* Training & Technical Support: Train and support users of the LabScanner devices and Authentifield system; ensure effective adoption and understanding of spectral library use.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Spectroscopy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
* Between 1 and 3 years of hands-on experience in spectral analysis, pharmaceutical evaluation, or forensic lab work.
* Proven ability in managing and maintaining spectral libraries and related analytical technologies.
* Proficiency in computer tools such as SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, and lab software (e.g., Chromeleon).
* Experience in sample chain-of-custody, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance (GxP, QA, safety protocols).
