What we are looking forWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to support our legal department and provide expert counsel in all legal matters. This role requires a proactive and strategic legal professional with a strong background in financial services, structured finance, corporate business, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in mitigating legal risks and ensuring compliance with both Swiss and international law.Your responsibilitiesProvide legal expertise in banking and finance, covering financial services, regulatory matters, structured finance, and corporate business;Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, drafting and negotiating financial agreements such as loan agreements, term sheets, and reviewing IT contracts, vendor agreements, etc.;Execute and manage corporate secretarial tasks related to bank management;Report and advise management on the bank's compliance with laws and regulations;Engage with external stakeholders and supervisory authorities as part of regulatory responsibilities;Participate in regulatory and compliance-driven projects;Negotiate, coordinate, and monitor the management of complex legal issues, making key decisions within areas of responsibility;Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in banking and financial markets to ensure global compliance.Your profileLegal Education: Law degree (Master of Laws or equivalent) from a recognized university, ideally with specialization in financial law, commercial law, or financial services.
