For our Development department, we are looking for a new Process Engineer.
A Day in the Life:
The ideal candidate will support the innovation, development and/or optimization of new manufacturing concepts, processes and procedures for transfer to manufacturing operations. This includes developing manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and creating measurement systems. The selected candidate will also interact with product design and development personnel to ensure compatibility between processes and designs. Additionally, they will ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations. Further responsibilities include recommending and implementing equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies, as well as providing technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area. Integration of equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications is also crucial.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have an Engineering Master degree with 6 months of experience or equivalent. Fluency in English and French is required, while project management skills and knowledge in medical device assembly, microfluidic and surface treatment are a plus. The ideal candidate should work independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments and be rigorous, proactive, flexible, results-oriented, and motivated by achievement. Strong communication skills are necessary to operate in multicultural environments and cross-geographies teams and to interact and influence at various levels within the organization. Decision-making abilities and autonomy are also essential. Furthermore, the candidate should contribute to others' success beyond their expertise and organization.
