Our client, based in Zug, is a globally leading company in the consumer healthcare sector. Their portfolio includes well-known brands in areas such as pain relief, oral health, respiratory care, digestive health, and vitamins and supplements.

Commercial Excellence Specialist & Sales Analyst (temporary from 1.11 until Extension possible)

Purpose of the Role:

This position combines strategic commercial excellence responsibilities with hands-on sales analytics and systems support. The core focus is to drive data-informed decision-making, enhance commercial capabilities, and support business performance through analysis, reporting, and system optimization in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Commercial Excellence Support: Assist ComEx team (SFE, NRM) with data analysis, insights generation, and commercial reporting to drive sales growth and optimize business performance.
* Monitor and analyze sell-in, sell-out, stock levels, and KPIs to ensure business objectives are met.
* Support sales forecasting and demand planning by consolidating and analyzing data inputs (sell-in, sell-out, inventory, market trends).
* Align sales forecasts with supply chain to guarantee availability without overstocking or expiry risks.
* Track stock dates, batch lifecycles, and demand trends to prevent write-offs and maximize efficiency.
* Data Analytics & BI Reporting: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. Leverage data mining techniques to uncover actionable business insights and present recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Collaboration with IT & Tech: Partner with technical teams to manage the data warehouse, ensure data quality and consistency, and implement data governance standards.
* Training & Capability Building: Prepare training materials and support knowledge-sharing within the Sales organization on analytics tools and data-driven practices.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and IT in a matrix organization, aligning business goals and supporting change initiatives.

Requirements:

* Min. 3 years in Consumer Health, Pharma, or FMCG, ideally with exposure to supply chain/demand planning.
* Industry knowledge: Understanding of distributor dynamics and pharma/OTC market.
* Previous work in
FMCG or Pharma
environment is preferred.
* Proven track record in
data analytics

Power BI
, and
sales reporting
.
* Analytical ability: Confident working with KPIs, sales data, forecasts, and inventory management.
* Proficient in
Power BI
,
Excel
,
CRM systems
,
ERP tools
(e.g., SAP), and
data visualization platforms
.
* Familiarity with statistical tools or languages (e.g., Qlik, R) is a plus.
* Fluency in
German (ability to understand Swiss German) and English
is required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A commercially-savvy, analytically driven professional who can navigate between big-picture commercial strategy and hands-on data execution. Someone with a strong finance backbone and technical system know-how, who is also comfortable working with Sales and IT stakeholders to turn insights into impact.
