We are looking for a German and English‑speaking Business Development & Technical Sales Manager Automated Vehicle Marshalling based in Zurich. Responsibilities
Present and demonstrate the AVM solution & technology to customers, assessing technical and operational feasibility
Steer complex, multi‑million‑euro sales opportunities
Serve as the point of contact for multiple teams within Automotive OEMs (vehicle, software, production planning, IT) and logistics companies
Develop business cases and value propositions to support customer decision‑making
Prepare and deliver compelling sales & technical presentations and materials
Identify new customers, generate leads, and assess market opportunities
Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with customers
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams
Shape the strategy and business model of the AVM solution
Travel internationally (20‑30%)
Requirements
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
At least 7 years of professional experience, including significant exposure to automotive industry sales, technical sales and product management
Proof of a proven track record in complex B2B sales & business development
Strong technical understanding of automotive systems, ideally of autonomous driving systems
Communication skills and fluency in both German and English
Nice‑to‑have
Experience in deep tech, or startup environments
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills who can also work hands‑on in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and customers and navigate complex organisational structures
