Supplier Quality Management Specialist

To ensure that suppliers consistently meet company quality standards, and regulatory obligations by managing supplier inspections, audits, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvement across the supply base.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements, standards, specifications, and monitor supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
2. Plan and conduct supplier-site inspections, including material, process, first article, and pre-shipment inspections, primarily across Europe.
3. Plan, conduct on-site supplier quality audit, evaluate supplier QMS system and report findings.
4. Participate in continuous improvement of WinGD’s supplier quality management system
5. Identify supplier quality issues, lead or support root cause analysis, and manage corrective actions through effective follow-up and closure.
6. Ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions through verification activities such as follow-up audits and inspections.
7. Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and reduce defects.
8. Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and re-qualification activities.
9. Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Warehouse & Logistics teams to address supplier quality issues and mitigate risks.
10. Prepare, maintain, and present supplier quality documentation, reports, and performance reviews in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and internal quality systems.
Qualifications:
11. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or related field
12. 5 years of experience in supplier quality management, quality assurance and SCM
13. Strong knowledge of supplier audits, inspections, and CA processes
14. Experience working with external suppliers and cross-functional teams
15. Knowledge of SAP, ISO 9001/14001/ 45001 or similar quality management systems, ESG, MS Office so as document management software
16. Readiness to Travel
17. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
18. Excellent attention to detail and follow-up discipline
19. Effective communication and supplier management skills
20. Fluent English in speaking and writing
