We Elevate... Your Responsibilities Customs Governance: Separation of Customs Rules and Governance from Customs Operations. Provide the strategy framework, vision and direction to the operations, to ensure a compliance application of customs law and any regulation applying to export transactions.
Provide operational support and best-in-class practices to Supply Chain Europe in terms of Customs, HS Classification, Customs Valuation, Origin calculation, Logistics processes (import/export) and Export controls / Trade Sanctions.
Be the supportive partner for Logistics and Business partners in order handling on Customs procedures, Preferential calculations, HS codes, and Dual-Use.
Perform continuous improvement and utilization of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and identification of new saving opportunities.
Ensure master data maintenance: supplier and material Origin, material HS code, in collaboration with Manufacturing, Procurement and Customer Service.
Lead and coordinate the application of legal procedures in Export Controls and Trade Sanctions.
Review and develop enhancements to the Organization’s existing Trade Compliance program.
Perform preliminary origin assessment (REP’s) and Economic analysis for new product or specific business cases, as well as audit trade compliance aspects.
Drive improvements in SAP GTS.
We Elevate... Your Best Self 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of Customs and Trade.
Extensive knowledge of EU, Swiss and International Customs laws and regulations.
Solid knowledge of Tariff (HS) Classification, Free Trade Agreements, Customs Valuations, Export Controls and Trade Sanctions.
Fluent English, any other language a plus.
Working knowledge of SAP and ERP global trade automation solutions.
