To strengthen our supplier quality management organization, we are seeking an experienced professional who will bridge the gap between Quality Control and Engineering departments as well as Supplier Quality Inspection. This individual will create and manage inspection plans for purchased parts, ensuring that our compressor components meet established standards worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop globally valid inspection plans for in-house and sub-supplier components
* Ensure compliance with established procedures for inspecting compressor components worldwide
* Support manufacturing sites in creating their own inspection plans
* Maintain inspection plans in collaboration with relevant parties
* Conduct internal QA audits (BCAG/BCIN/BCKB/BCUS) related to inspection planning
* Collaborate with measurement and gauge planning specialists on inspection planning
* Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective measures/Q inspection plans implemented with SD in conjunction with quality and cost objectives
* Analyze quality notifications and inspection planning data
* Create training documents for plants on quality/inspection planning
* Write and maintain processes/manuals related to SAP Q-Module
Requirements:
* Completed apprenticeship as a poly-mechanic/machine mechanic
* Further education in mechanical engineering and/or quality management is advantageous
* Qualifications as a quality engineer and inspection planner
* Several years of experience in inspection planning
* Strong knowledge of ISO-GPS dimensioning and implementation of corresponding measurement methods
* Proficiency in programming and operating CMM/laser trackers (PC-DMIS/PolyWorks)
* Application knowledge of ERP system SAP desired
* Fluency in German and English (read/write/speak)
