The Optima machinery Switzerland AG operates in Sales and Service for machine solutions in the pharmaceutical and biotech, diagnostics, hygiene, healthcare, food, cosmetics and chemical industries.
* Install and maintain high-quality industrial filling and packaging machines imported from Germany at customer sites in the UK, ensuring installation and commissioning meet manufacturer specifications.
* Operate and troubleshoot machinery to diagnose malfunctions, consulting the supplier's technical help desk via phone or online, and resolving issues as necessary.
* Perform regular maintenance on delivered machines, providing support and communication with customers' factory engineers and machine operators.
* Propose required maintenance services and spare parts to customers to ensure optimal machine performance.
* Study and review machine manuals and specifications, delivering training to customers, engineers, and other interested parties to ensure understanding.
* Mechanical or electrical grade or diploma or Mechatronical & Electricial Technician; alternatively Technical appreticeship / training
* Ability to work and read technical drawings
* Min. 2 years experience with special machinery
* Assembly of mechanical components
* Commissioning of pharma or similar machinery
