In this position as a (Junior) Electrical Engineer or Experienced Technician, you will work alongside experienced engineers in the Electrical Engineering team. You will play a central role in the development and assembly of electronic systems — from circuit design through installation to the commissioning of our lithography systems.
This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Team Lead and is based in Würenlos, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
Design and implementation of circuits and PCB designs (schematic & PCB layout)
Assembly, wiring, and electrical installation of modules in system production
Commissioning, functional testing, fault analysis, and experimental setups including documentation
Project support from the concept phase through design to commissioning
Assistance with measurements and material procurement / component selection
Close collaboration with engineering and production teams: Mechanical, Optics, Systems Engineering, and Software/Controls
Profile
Completed degree (University of Applied Sciences or Higher Technical School) in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Understanding of analog and digital circuit design
Initial practical experience through internships, project work, or a prior technical apprenticeship (e.g., automation technician, electronics technician) is helpful
A plus but not a must: experience with KiCad, EPLAN, Altium, or similar EDA tools
Careful, proactive, and systematic working style
