The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the IT Desktop Support Technician (m/f/d) role will make an impact:
1. You provide desktop infrastructure support to local and regional business partners
2. You manage and support endpoint devices including desktops, laptops, and iOS devices
3. You deliver hands-and-feet support for infrastructure teams and ensure proper escalation
4. You assist with asset management and maintain accurate IT inventory
5. You coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and senior management for effective service delivery
6. You ensure compliance with internal Information Security Policies and GxP qualification standards
7. You participate in local and regional IT project coordination
8. You maintain documentation related to equipment disposal and ensure timely handling
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
9. 7 - 9 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure services, or desktop management
10. Solid understanding of network configurations, IT systems, and common enterprise hardware/software
11. Experience in working with senior stakeholders and end-user support
12. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
13. Familiar with data center environments and local project execution
14. Fluency in English and good German skills required
15. Strong organizational skills and ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
