How You'll Make an Impact
Owner of the Truth
* Take full responsibility for the financial and management accounting of Hero AG – our Shared Service Center covering Retail, Foodservice, Export, and Headquarters.
* Ensure every entry, every accrual, every reconciliation lands exactly where it belongs – under IFRS and Swiss statutory standards.
* Keep the general ledger and sub-ledgers tight, transparent, and always audit-ready – not just when auditors show up.
Closing Perfectionist
* Run monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with discipline and confidence – no last-minute chaos.
* Deliver IFRS group reporting that headquarters can rely on without second guessing.
* Support planning cycles with structured, rock-solid numbers.
VAT & Compliance Hawk
* Own Swiss and EU VAT end-to-end – filings, reconciliations, and the uncomfortable questions no one else wants to answer.
* Prepare audit documentation that speaks for itself.
* Support tax and social security audits with clarity, calm, and facts.
Process Stabilizer
* Keep the accounts payable workflow flowing – efficient, controlled, and predictable.
* Maintain FI/CO master data and CO-PA allocations with the precision they deserve.
* Contribute to reporting processes that don't just meet deadlines – they build trust.
Global Detail Guardian
* Oversee administrative coordination for our Shanghai and Hong Kong offices.
* Ensure distance never becomes an excuse for inconsistency and make sure we have a perfect match with our Intercompany partners.
Who You Are
Operationally Strong. Structurally Sharp.
* 5–10 years in a comparable accounting role – ideally in an industrial environment where complexity is real.
* Deep hands-on expertise in IFRS and Swiss commercial and tax accounting.
* You enjoy the operational core: reconciliations, documentation, system accuracy, and clean closing routines.
System-Confident
* SAP FI/CO are non-negotiable.
* Hyperion (HFM) knowledge is a plus.
* You don't fear structured reporting environments – you bring structure into them.
Qualified & Reliable
* Certified Specialist in Finance & Accounting (or equivalent), ideally with additional business education focused on accounting.
* Fluent German and English – because precision applies to language, too.
