This encompasses the thorough understanding and meticulous tracking of all service dependencies and proactive lifecycle management.YOUR CHALLENGEPart of the 3rd level support for a Datalake house (platform operations)Member of an Agile program to support change initiativesSupport Operations, Support, Maintenance, and overarching Service LifecycleCollaborating closely with 1st, 2nd level, DevOps team, and external service providersAct as gatekeeper for change in the platform and ensure compliance with IT governance (e.g. Security, Risk Management, Technical Debt Management etc.)Improve continuously the service quality, availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge managementAbility to be self-sufficient and detail orientated in trouble shooting of technical platform componentsEnsure proper tailoring and implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the IT Service Owner and Application Engineer and coordinate the transition into test and production environmentsYOUR PROFILE5+ years of experience in projects and/or operations of IT applications and/or Data platformsDynamic and agile mindset, being passionate about operations, operational improvements, and automationAble to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasksExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong analytical, communication, interpersonal, co-ordinational and leading skillsExposure to tools and technologies related to IT service management, Operations and GovernanceFamiliarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and other relevant frameworksExperience / understanding of Data Lake / Data Lake House technology stack (Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, VMware)Experience / understanding of Data architecture, data pipelines and data productsProven experience in IT service management, operations, and IT governanceRelevant higher education and professional background within computer scienceWe are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
