La Enfance Emma X is engaged in social work in schools at 50%. La Enfance Emma X actively engages in the reception, protection, and support of minors at risk in their development. Our services are directed at both children and their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with the values we embody every day. Our activities are fully part of the child protection policy established by Vaud. With its commitment, it manages 5 and 6 units, mobilizing more than 250 social workers in schools at 50%. Social workers in schools intervene in 12 educational institutions in the region. The main mission is to support the student with the help of their parents and teachers so that they develop the necessary resources to meet the various challenges posed by schooling despite the endogenous or exogenous difficulties they encounter. It is also a matter of supporting the school and/or family environment in implementing the necessary adjustments to promote the student's success.Job Responsibilities:- Ensure the function in schools in the Lavaux-Oron region.- Implement actions based on school directions to support students or groups of students.- Conduct a causal analysis of what hinders the student's success and propose courses of action.- Accompany and support the teaching staff and parents in their role with the children.- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders from the educational establishments and the wider network.- Manage daily tasks.Profile:- Holder of a social work degree or deemed equivalent.- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a role with minors, including at least one in a residential setting.- Ongoing experience in the field of childhood and adolescence.- Good knowledge of social work and its tools.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Good knowledge of the Vaud school system and the local psychosocial network.- Ability to propose tailored interventions to individual cases within a given framework.- Measured and open-minded character.- Personality marked by great autonomy and the ability to easily adapt to varied contexts.- Driving license and personal vehicle are essential.We offer:The opportunity to invest in a dynamic and evolving work environment that values talent as well as challenges.
