Your tasks
As APQP Manager, you ensure that our development projects follow a robust, quality planning process in alignment with AS/EN 9145 and internal H+S standards. You act as the voice of quality in multidisciplinary project teams, enabling flawless launches, reliable products, and satisfied customers. You guide teams in applying core quality tools, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood, implemented, and verified along the product lifecycle.
1. Ensure the application of APQP in projects, with a strong focus on aerospace requirements (AS/EN 9145) and in compliance with customer-specific requirements and internal H+S standards
2. Execute and oversee tasks related to APQP, PPAP, and FAIR processes including documentation
3. Lead and moderate FMEA activities (DFMEA & PFMEA)
4. Participate in product implementation decisions as part of a cross-functional team
5. Support space programs with product assurance tasks and document supervision
6. Use SAP, CIMdb, and data systems to ensure structured and traceable documentation
7. Manage requirement changes within projects and throughout the product lifecycle
8. Analyze quality performance, identify trends, and propose continuous improvement measures
9. Manage non-conformities in prototype and pre-launch phases
10. Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders
11. Perform internal audits and support external audits
Your profile
12. Knowledge of APQP and PPAP according to AS/EN 9145
13. Experience with ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100.
14. Experience in prototype production, PPAP/FAIR releases, and complaint handling
15. Strong command of core tools: 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA
16. Familiarity with CAQ, PLM, ERP systems, MS Office
17. Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
18. Fluent in English and German
19. Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills
20. High attention to detail and accuracy
21. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
22. Strong communication and teamwork skills
23. Proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset
24. Willingness to travel occasionally
