The International Section is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Biology with ESS Start date: August 2026 Workload: 80 – 100 % The successful candidate will teach Biology or General Science in Grades 9 and 10, and Biology at IB Diploma level. The ability to teach Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS) is considered a strong asset. Responsibilities: The role involves designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that develop scientific understanding, critical thinking, and practical skills. The teacher will support students’ academic and personal growth both within and beyond the classroom, contribute to collaborative curriculum development, and participate actively in the school’s rich co-curricular and extracurricular life. Requirements: •\tDegree in Biology or a closely related subject •\tTeaching qualification recognised for upper secondary schools •\tProven teaching experience in secondary science, including IB Diploma Biology •\tAbility to teach or a willingness to contribute to IB Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS) is a strong asset •\tHighly motivated teacher with excellent pedagogical skills and a strong commitment to student-centred, inquiry-based learning •\tConfident, flexible, and collaborative professional who enjoys working with young people in an international school environment •\tSwiss/EU/EFTA citizenship is an advantage
