Role Overview
As Manager, GTM & Marketplace Strategy, you will lead seasonal execution and define a clear, disciplined marketplace strategy across EMEA, working closely with the General Manager EMEA & APAC, regional leaders, and the Global GTM Director.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a Marketplace Strategy aligned with brand positioning and long‑term growth ambitions.
* Protect marketplace integrity through assortment control, price architecture, channel discipline, and compliance with contractual, legal and financial frameworks.
* Partner with Finance and Legal to manage marketplace models, contracts, margins and risk exposure.
* Coordinate with E‑commerce, Merchandising, Marketing and Area Management to lead seasonal GTM processes and integrate marketplaces into the GTM calendar.
* Drive execution of GTM deliverables, including marketplace go‑live timing, seasonal assortment drops, and channel‑specific priorities.
* Define and enforce clear channel and marketplace segmentation (DTC, strategic wholesale, digital marketplaces) and translate into actionable assortment and go‑to‑market strategies.
* Track and analyze key seasonal and marketplace KPIs (sell‑through, inventory exposure, price integrity, margin and profitability); recommend corrective actions and provide executive‑level reporting.
* Maintain cross‑functional collaboration with E‑commerce, Merchandising, Area Managers, Head of Marketing, Finance and Legal to ensure alignment and prevent channel conflict.
Skills for Success
* University degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Economics or a related field.
* Strong experience in GTM, Marketplace management, E‑commerce or Commercial Strategy.
* Solid financial acumen with ability to work with KPIs, reporting tools and performance analysis.
* Highly analytical, strategic and structured mindset.
* Proven stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership skills.
* Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
* Strong passion for sports and the sporting goods industry.
* Results‑driven, proactive and ownership‑oriented approach.
