Key Account Manager / Client Account Lead (50%)
Overview
For our client we are seeking a Key Account Manager to manage strategic life sciences accounts and oversee the successful delivery of AI and analytics programs. This role requires strong client relationship management skills, delivery oversight, and the ability to identify and drive account growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients.
* Understand client goals, priorities, and challenges to ensure solutions deliver measurable value.
* Lead regular business reviews, performance tracking, and governance meetings.
* Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers.
* Develop and execute account growth plans aligned with client objectives.
* Identify new opportunities across commercial analytics, digital transformation, and AI.
* Collaborate with business development and solution teams on proposals and value propositions.
* Drive account profitability while ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
* Oversee program delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets.
* Partner with delivery, data science, and product teams to ensure consistent value realization.
* Monitor project KPIs and operational health, proactively mitigating risks.
* Implement structured client feedback loops and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate cross-functional communication between clients and internal teams.
* Contribute client insights to solution development, innovation, and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications
* 8–12 years of experience in account management, client engagement, or delivery leadership within analytics, AI, or digital consulting.
* Minimum of 3 years working with clients in life sciences, pharma, biotech, or healthcare.
* Proven success managing strategic enterprise accounts and multi-million-dollar programs.
* Strong knowledge of AI/ML, analytics, digital transformation, and commercial strategy.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to link analytics to tangible outcomes.
* Experience with CRM tools and project management frameworks.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, or related fields.
This position can be done remotely out of Switzerland with site visits (around Basel) included. It is a part-time (50%) position.
