About The Role
We seek a motivated individual to join our team, offering hands-on experience with IFRS 17, RCP, and involvement in the FPSL implementation shaping future financial reporting.
As a Senior IFRS Actuarial Analyst, you will work on local IFRS 17 RCP accounting and closing, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including Accounting, Actuarial Business Experts, Business Analysts, and Developers. Your responsibilities include executing RCP, validating calculations, and supporting local entities during review and close processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Support local IFRS deliveries and assist teams throughout the process
* Review and ensure accuracy of IFRS results
* Provide technical valuation expertise
* Participate in integration testing for IFRS 17 in the new RCP environment
* Implement and test business requirements for IFRS in FPSL
* Collaborate with Risk Management, Finance, FP&A, IT, and other functions
About The Team
The Local IFRS Accounting & Project Management team in Global Finance Operations & Transformation oversees IFRS calculations (RCP) and supports local audits. Our high-performing team of 10 members operates across Bratislava, Singapore, and Zurich, fostering a collaborative environment that offers extensive learning opportunities in IFRS accounting and reinsurance economics.
About You
* University degree; qualified Actuary with 5+ years' experience in Finance or Risk Management
* Deep knowledge of IFRS 17 standards is a strong plus
* Ability to address conceptual and practical challenges
* Curious, proactive, and open-minded with a self-starting attitude
* Excellent collaboration skills across technical and business functions
* Capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure
* Strong communicator with proficiency in English
Role Details
For Switzerland, the salary range is between 98,000 and 146,000 CHF for full-time employment, considering role requirements, qualifications, and experience. Swiss Re offers performance-based variable compensation and additional benefits. Eligibility depends on employment policies and contracts.
