Role Description
The IT & Software Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technology solutions that support business operations and digital transformation initiatives. This role bridges the gap between IT infrastructure and software applications, ensuring that systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, troubleshoot technical challenges, and implement best practices in software engineering and IT management.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications that support business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical specifications and project objectives.
Ensure software solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable.
Provide IT support and troubleshoot system issues across hardware, networks, and applications.
Manage system upgrades, patches, and integration with existing platforms.

Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure applications meet performance standards.
Support cloud-based solutions, database management, and system automation.

Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in IT support, software development, or systems administration.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system security.
Familiarity with development frameworks, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Agile or Scrum project methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and deliver results under pressure.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, CompTIA) are an advantage.
