 
        
        The Project Manager will have the responsibility for overseeing all aspects of project management, including operational, financial, customer, and employee strategies within our Utilities business located in Wrexham. This role will involve leading the day-to-day delivery of rising lateral mains upgrades.
The Project Manager will be accountable for effectively planning, managing, and controlling the project's finances. They will also be responsible for ensuring all stakeholders are engaged, kept informed of progress, and that any necessary changes are implemented. Additionally, timely reports must be submitted as required by the project.
A crucial aspect of this position will involve managing a team that delivers on existing framework contracts for various DNO and private clients.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability Efficiently managing all operational needs and scheduling to ensure optimal practices and consistency, including overseeing operational resource levels
Taking on commercial responsibility for the project, including managing cash flow and collections, as well as creating and executing budgets within forecasts and expectations
Supervising operational workforce from various disciplines and overseeing the management and coordination of subcontractors, such as builders, joiners, civil workers, and asbestos workers
Clearly instructing and communicating work tasks to the workforce, continuously evaluating work progress, and providing regular updates to the client
Cultivating relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out and developing new business opportunities
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes A proven track record in LV Project Management
Certification in either IOSH Managing Safely or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
HV experience would be advantageous but not required
You’ll have good knowledge of various Project Management aspects (tools, techniques, practices) and good knowledge of other functions such as Commercial & Finance
