Le Verger, Maison d'Accueil de la Science Chrétienne, invites applications for a position of Director of Christian Science Nursing.
The Verger is a non‑profit association whose mission is to bear witness to universal divine healing. No medical treatment is provided; patients rely solely on Christian Science for healing through prayer.
Based in Bursins, near Lake Geneva, Switzerland, The Verger cares for patients from Europe and beyond, in their homes or in its facility. Four languages are spoken on site: French, German, English, and Portuguese, and The Verger is the only accredited Christian Science Nursing facility in continental Europe.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable knowledge of Christian Science theology and practice.
* Completion of Christian Science Nursing training through an accredited program.
* Membership of the Mother Church and any branch church or society.
* Completion of the Christian Science Primary Course.
* Current circulation of The Christian Science Journal.
* Compliance with Article VIII, Section 31 of the Manual of the Mother Church.
* Expression of nursing qualities as described in Science and Health with the Key to the Scriptures (Mary Baker Eddy 395:18).
* Strong metaphysical readiness, ability to inspire others, and capacity to collaborate, lead, and supervise.
* Ability to manage the Christian Science nursing floor.
* Substantial experience in meeting Christian Science nursing needs with proper skill, theological understanding, and ethical practice.
* Capacity to create and manage successful teams.
Language Requirements
* French or English highly desirable; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
