This role is a hybrid opportunity requiring 3 days onsite at our corporate office in Rolle, CH.
Your Mission
Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing, managing cross-functional projects, and optimizing supply chain processes. You will oversee supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and collaborate across departments to support efficient, reliable operations.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
o Develop, implement, and execute sourcing strategies for all DNA capture kit components.
o Manage a growing and complex supplier base, ensuring security of supply, cost optimization, and compliance with regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA, GMP).
o Conduct negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms while building long-term strategic partnerships.
* Supplier Relationship Management
o Lead Supplier Operating Procedures (SOPs) and drive alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
o Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with global suppliers to assess performance, quality, and risk management.
o Monitor and manage supplier KPIs, ensuring delivery reliability, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Risk & Compliance Management
o Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to raw materials and critical consumables.
o Ensure all sourcing activities comply with ethical, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
o Develop contingency plans to secure supply continuity and resilience.
* Operational Excellence
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning) to anticipate demand and integrate new products into the supply base.
o Support new product introductions (NPIs) by sourcing qualified materials and onboarding new suppliers.
o Leverage digital procurement tools and data-driven analysis to drive efficiency and process improvements.
Qualifications
* 10 years of experience in supply chain sourcing, procurement, or related functions, preferably within medtech, biotech or a regulated environment.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with proven experience managing supplier relationships and driving value.
* Advanced degree in Business Management, Administration, or a related field; a Master’s is a plus.
* Professional proficiency in English and French.
* Solid experience with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 Suite; familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and project management methodologies is a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
* Conscientious, rigorous, and detail-oriented with strong analytical and data consolidation skills.
* Collaborative, curious, and able to challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
* Able to travel up to 20% of the year.
